  3. this is the release of yamm-2.5.5
  4.  
  5. With this release some things are going to change.
  6. The main thing is that I'm going to attend my military duty. I will
  7. leave Lecco the next 11th of July. I will stay away for a year, but I hope I
  8. will be able to read the e-mail at least every month!
  9.  
  10. This don't mean that yamm will not be supported forever. Just let me go this
  11. year and I will return better than ever :)

  13. Now the changes from the previous release:

  15. o HP-UX now compiles cleanly!
  16. o new target 'dist' in main Makefile (this one is mainly for me :)
  17. o changed drv_yamm.c to make use of the new (linux-1.3.4 and after) get_user
  18.   macro to transfer data between kernel and user space.
  19. o Bug fixes here and there.

  21. Bugs:
  22. No bugs known. But hey ... bugs are mainly hidden :)

  24. Note:
  25. There are still some problems with ncurses color management. Sometimes,
  26. manly in the help screen and in all the screens where I do lot of printw's,
  27. colors are still not well redrawn. This is not a major problem, but it is
  28. quite annoying.
  29. I don't know where the problem really is, but I think it is in the ncurses.
  30. Of course, I may be wrong.
